Goals are essential to life, having the drive to achieve and reach them pushes people to better themselves each and everyday.
“My goals for this year are to have a positive mindset, graduate, make more friends, and to get out of my shell,” senior Michaya Shepherd said. “I’m hoping to get more active in my community; I’m in Art Club and FCCLA, so hopefully I can connect with more people.”
Many student athletes are striving to move up in their sports while maintaining their grades.
“I really want to pass ONRAMPS chemistry this year, and I’m aiming to not fail Algebra II. My biggest goal this year is to get onto varsity soccer,” sophomore Mariella Robledo said. “I’m aiming to be like Messi and Neymar Jr. and I’ll be practicing soccer more.”
The staff at LHS are not strangers to their own goals.
