Senior Ethan Rascoe waves the Badger flag while leading the football team onto the field to face Liberty Hill on Friday. The Badgers won the game 52-10.

The football team defeated the Liberty Hill Panthers 52-10 in a blowout at Badger Field on Friday.

During the 2018 season, Lampasas fell 56-27 to Liberty Hill, so the Badgers came back this time looking for revenge.The team did not hold back Friday night as they played smash mouth football. 

The Badgers continually pounded down on the Panthers offense, not letting them score more than 10 points. This season, the football team is known for usually winning games by a margin of 10 or more points. 

The Badgers (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Taylor Ducks. The Ducks have a 0-7 record. Friday, Taylor was trounced by Fredericksburg 35-10. 

The District 14-4A, DIV. 1 Standings as of Friday night are Lampasas 2-0, Fredericksburg 2-0, Canyon Lake 2-0, Burnet 0-2, Taylor 2-0 and Liberty Hill 0-2.
