The Pink Out pep rally Oct. 6 was Barbie themed.
¨Student council members came up with the Barbie Pink Out shirts because of the new popular movie Barbie,¨ Student Council Co-sponsor Megan Achee said .
Student Council Members raised $2500 for breast cancer research and people affected by breast cancer.
¨It is the pep rally we get to dedicate to those who are currently fighting breast cancer,¨ cheer coach Shannon Lindsey said.
The student section was also decked out in pink for the Barbie Pink Out football game.
¨Everyone has truly embraced the theme this year,¨ Lindsey said. ¨Student Council used the Barbie theme for their Pink Out shirts and the student section at the football game is also using the Barbie theme¨
