The student council will host a dance in the cafetorium Saturday from 8-10 p.m. 

The Super Hoco Dance kicks off homecoming week. Spirit week is next week and the homecoming football game is Sept. 23 .

“The student council is hosting a homecoming dance for all students celebrating the homecoming game,” student council sponsor Jenn Moore said. “Tickets are $10 each or $15 if you are going as a couple.”

The student council is managing this year’s homecoming dance with the theme, Badger Assemble, which is a reference to the Marvel Superheroes. While already selling tickets, they are working on bringing together a dance for all students to enjoy.

“Only students who attend Lampasas High School can participate in the dance, and any volunteers have to be background checked beforehand,” Moore said.

Due to new safety protocols this year, anyone who is not a high school student at LHS, will not be able to attend the homecoming dance. That also includes previous graduates not being able to attend with current students. 

“I’m excited for the dance and spirit week next week,” freshman Adilynn Menendez said. “It will be fun to see everyone dress up to celebrate.”
