Many students attended the homecoming dance Sept. 20. The theme was U.S.A., which prompted the crowd to dress in red, white and blue.
“I’m excited for the themes of homecoming week,” sophomore Issac White said. “This theme for the dance was well chosen. It shows patriotism towards our country.”
Some students enjoyed the theme for the colors.
“I like the red, white and blue,” freshman Hallie Watson said. “Its a good theme to start homecoming week.”
“I thought the U.S.A was a great theme choice,” junior Lovell Godly said. “It created an energetic atmosphere everyone could connect with.”
Godley also said he noticed lots of school spirit in the crowd.
“There was lots of spirit and creativity in how everyone was dressed,” he said. “It was clear that students were excited to participate, and the energy in the room showed how much pride everyone had.”
Godley said this was a good way to start homecoming week off with unity and pride.
“The U.S.A theme helped set the tone for getting the students involved and excited,” he said. “It ties in well because it focuses both on unity and school pride.”
