New girl’s soccer coach Liz Duran has been working hard to improve the team’s on-field communication and confidence, creating a positive and beneficial environment.
“I love her,” junior Talor Anderson said. “She’s a great coach”
Duran hopes to see growth within her athletes as they practice daily from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.
“We have been focusing on the basics and building confidence in our game,” she said. “I am excited and ready to represent LHS in the role as head coach now and get the opportunity to develop these young athletes. We have a young team. I am ready to see them grow together.”
Anderson has been participating in soccer the past ten years. She is excited to work on her skills to beat Brownwood this year. The team has been preparing by conditioning themselves with routines and practices.
Sophomore Natalie Braudt is looking forward to bonding with her teammates this year, old and new. She has also been coming in for practices early in the mornings to work on her routines.
“I’m having great bonding time with my teammates.”
